Well it's sad to say I missed this one purely because I was busy and no other reason. So I'm going to sum the event up through friends' experiences.
To start off, there was a senamrobik activity in the morning. This is quite weird as... you know... it's a carnival.... not Sports Day to be exact. Nevertheless, that happened. I'm guessing most of the participants weren't wearing the proper attire as they didn't get the memo till the last minute.
Besides, there was a dunking game that was setup by the Scouts. Though I didn't go to the carnival personally, a few clips circulated around social media such as Facebook and Instagram and that's how I know Joash from 4 Balau got dunked. Mr James that was a former teacher in the school along with Pn Lau got dunked as well.
Lastly, the Teen Star Talent show. Again, I didn't go to the carnival so I do not know half of what happened during the event, but the highlight of the carnival was Mr Ganapathy, the principal of SMK Damansara Jaya, Sekolah Kluster Kecemerlangan went up on stage and let loose.
That pretty much sums up the major events during the carnival.
Cheers,
Chua

Aw, it's such a pity that you have missed ICT-ton. I bet it would've been much more fun if you there to witness what was going on that day! Not only what you mentioned, but there were also food trucks set up and the food were delicious!
ReplyDeleteAw, it's so sad that you could not attend this event as it was really a nice one! You would surely enjoy being there for the performances and so on. Well, for me one of the highlights was the Kopiboy which sells coffee. Me and my friends lined up for 40 minutes under the sun just to drink, we actually regretted as it wasn't that good. Anyways, hope you would go next year if it's held by school again!
ReplyDeleteAw, it's a disappointment that you couldn't make it for the carnival. I had a lot of fun being the dry one instead of being dumped by people who pay to make you wet. The food trucks which you did not mention above sells just decent food and drinks. I hope that you can make it to the carnival next year, if there is one, and enjoy the fun in person instead of experiencing it through social media.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful blog my friend , Chua. This was one of the most intriguing blogs to me because I felt the exact same way as you as I as well did not go for the carnival. The dunking game was of course interesting because I heard that Pn Low was dunked by her own son. I pray that you have the experience of attending a different interesting carnival in the future which does not contribute to the schools' donation.
ReplyDeleteAw,even though it has been a few months it is still a shame that you missed it as it was very fun. Well, that's a lie, it's so-so. But I am impressed that you are able to write something so accurately even though you did not attend this event. The dunking games were the most fun part about the whole carnival and the talent show was very interesting to say the least.
ReplyDeleteI sense a pattern
ReplyDeleteDUNK!!! It was so funny
