HolidayS

The holidays are here ! Finally, after a week of stressful exam and another week of getting the results back, alas it's time to take a short break. But, after seeing my terrible results, I can't relax that much and practice is important.

Other than "organizing" my time on gaming, watching videos, and the occasional story-writing, I did went on an outing with my friends. It was fun. Especially bowling.

Finally went to the Charity Concert after 3 years in the school. Boy, was it fun ! Don't feel like going next year though due to my ear drums breaking after listening to 3 long hours of bass-boosted music. Really wished they had a better PA system, or a better handler (sorry Hew Zhong! ).

Holidays were fun. Can't wait for mid term's holiday !

Writing a 10 word story

Welcome back folks. Sadly, it seems that third time isn't a charm. Oh well, back to basics. Anyway, I hope you had a good week. I'm sure many of you had written essays throughout your lifetime. Whether its an essay for school which is usually 200 ~ 400 words long, a story (length may vary) or even a thesis paper (thousands). Depending on your age and level of English education of course. Personal record, 13 thousand words in a story named Chrono Switch . I assume you already read the title and hence clicked on this post for... actually why did you clicked on this post? Either way, we were instructed to write a ten word story, with the word "spooky" being mandatory in the story. And with Halloween coming around the corner, I can see why they picked that specific word. I too, enjoy writing weird story that are outfitted with details and character development. My English Blog

R. Welcome back to another blog post folks. Today, we're going to talk about... scrolls Whatsapp ... give me a minute...  Huh.  My feelings on the blog and whether it has benefited me thus far. So let's talk about that. Ah... An English Block of Word . Not the best name I came out with, but it's still quite creative. I started this blog last year January on the 6th. At first when I came about the idea of writing a blog, actually no, it wasn't an idea, it was a weekly homework given by our dear teacher Pn Monica, with different topics every week. Honestly, when I first got the assignment to write a blog as homework, I was kind of amazed. Integration of the usage of the Internet and it's on my favourite subject? Score. Of course, this wasn't the first time I started the blog, my third time, in fact, the last two being some websites to share my own written fictional stories to my friends. Teachers' Day

Teachers' Day Woooo it's Teachers' Day ! Now now, where's Principal Day then ? Jokes aside, Teacher's Day was fun. (Except when they spelled "Happy Teacher's Day" instead of "Happy Teachers' Day", but you know, no one's sweating the details and everyone had fun.)  Teachers' Day is the annual celebration where we honour our teachers for doing what they do best, teaching us ! And on this day, we get thank them by giving them gifts, or simply just wishing the Happy Teachers' Day, to show gratitude to their teachings, whether it's boring or not. This year's Teachers' Day was quite enjoyable, though I was not a fan of huge gatherings as my ears hurts when it comes to noisy environment. Still quite funny that they let the PIBG member to announce the ICT-Ton program so that we could help them collect money to renovate the school.
